Investing has been an important part of my life for over 20 years. I always dreamed of being able to secure a wonderful retirement for my wife and myself. Unfortunately, in the place where I come from, that is an almost impossible thing to do. From my early days I knew the importance of knowledge, and I kept reading and reading about investing, while experimenting with different financial instruments and learning from my mistakes.

Somehow I got into the world of mutual funds, and that was my biggest mistake so far. During the 10 years of my mutual funds investing phase, the people that were supposed to be helping me, were actually helping themselves and their employers, while taking a big chunk from my annual returns. I was completely unaware of my ignorance, until finally I learned about the wonderful world of index funds.

Ever since that moment, my investing story became one with a happy-ending, with me taking charge of my financial future, instead of letting someone else do it.

This website is my humble effort to try to help others who are discovering the benefits of being a long-term passive investor in index ETFs, and to help them make the first steps into a brighter financial future.
